As our DevOps Specialist you will work within an Agile team to deliver technical solutions for improving the overall quality of product build, deployments, release, and monitoring, with an emphasis on non-functional requirements (standards, resilience, stability, scalability, security, etc.), as well as an emphasis on process adherence, team enablement, operational oversight, and support coordination. You will set up and maintain the automation infrastructure, enabling and supporting Salesforce Developers and Quality Engineers to focus on writing tests and building new functionality. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

• 2-4 years’ experience with Salesforce-specific development (change sets, unit test, metadata, etc.)
• 1-3 years’ professional experience in test-driven, Salesforce development as a Project Manager, Salesforce Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, or Developer
• Able to articulate on processes and tools utilized to ensure quality, stability, performance, scalability, deployment, security, maintenance and documentation
• 2+ Salesforce certifications (Administrator and Platform App Builder required)
• Knowledge and understanding of latest trends in DevOps methodologies, processes and tools, as well as emerging solutions and ability to apply them when appropriate
• Experience with Version Control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) and system registration, setup, branching strategy, environment strategy, etc.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and implement fully automated CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure the success of all manner of tasks related to deployments: Configuration, Code, and Data progresses through environments in a stable and predictable way
• Monitor, debug, and enhance pipelines for optimal operation and performance
• Troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve a majority of the production issues
• Handle escalation management of production issues
• Provide quick, reliable, and easy to interpret script results and dashboard reports to raise awareness of operational overhead
• Setup development, staging, demo, and production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to improve the overall team velocity
• Clearly articulate and document processes, designs, and other produced artifacts to a diverse group of individuals
• Implement development pipeline process updates, refine toward automation
• Story-level review of testing requirements
• Develop processes to anticipate and address the businesses needs for seamless onboarding and execution of DevOps products/programs
• Serve as a medium between build teams, operations, governance, and DevOps teams for full technical support
• Establish and govern the release process including guidelines for all releases
• Own a communication process to resolve errors
• Maintain manifest and deployment plan to include changes made outside of the deployment cycle
