Job Summary:
Senior Oracle Applications DBA will be co-ordinate and lead all operational and maintenance activities of various Oracle ERP systems implemented across company, which are

the backbone of organization’s business units. Individual will be responsible for zero downtime and efficient functioning of all Oracle ERP systems, ensuring smooth business

operations. Senior DBA will also support and lead DBA efforts for, rollout of Oracle ERP systems at different company locations and integration of cutting edge technology tools and

applications as per business requirement. Senior DBA will also train and guide junior DBAs.

Responsibilities:
As an Oracle applications DBA, individual will be responsible for

+ Design, Install, Upgrade, Administer, Patch, Clone, Maintain and Monitor Oracle e-Business R12 and other integrated applications.

+ Support boundary systems like OTM, SOA, WebMethods, OBIEE, GRC, Demantra, Vertex and Application express.

+ Administer all related 11g,12c and 19c Exadata, RAC & non-RAC databases in OCI and on-prem.

+ Individual will be responsible for ensuring these systems are patched to the latest level.

+ Monitoring these systems using scripts and Oracle cloud control 13c is a key part of the role.

+ Automation of regular day to day activities as part of above responsibilities.

+ Contribute in constant review and improvement of our processes and operational documents.

+ Plan and Co-ordinate with other teams, various activities including outage, upgrade and patching.

+ Dawn the role of a shift lead, coordinating day to day support activities.

+ Ensure highest security standards are met for the systems involved and participate in audit related activities.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (16 Years of education)

Minimum Experience: 9+ years

Key Skillsets and experience:
+ Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and ability to contribute independently.

+ Ability to plan and co-ordinate activities across teams.

+ Individual should be able to lead calls during outages and quickly identify root cause for complex issues.

+ DBA should be fluent in managing all components of Oracle e-business suite R12, RAC database 11g, 12c and 19c.

+ Advanced skills required in performance tuning and performance troubleshooting on above systems.

+ Knowledge and exposure to Oracle and AWS cloud is essential.

+ Experience working with Oracle Transportation Management and OBIEE is an added advantage.

+ Knowledge on Exadata/Exalogic machine, concepts, and architecture.

+ Working experience on Linux, Oracle exadata and exalogic is required and working experience on AIX and legacy Operating Systems is preferred.

+ Proficiency in shell scripting and perl scripting preferred.

+ Knowledge of ITIL process and SOX audit required.

+ Coordination and working experience with Developers, OS and hardware teams is preferred
