Your Career as a Major Account Manager, Govt. West
Job description
A Major Account Manager (MAM) is responsible for penetrating and selling TrendMicro Security solutions into Govt. accounts in the given territory. MAM will be playing a key role by influencing prospects to buy Trend Micro solutions in this highly competitive security industry. To be successful in this position MAM will need to understand and navigate large complex accounts and understand all aspects of complex selling in an enterprise technology market. The position requires significant entrepreneurial thinking, account penetration and presentation skills.
Responsible to strategize, execute and review large accounts strategy in the Govt. space in the given set of account(s).
Mapping all the stakeholders in the account(s) allotted.
Direct responsibility for attaining enterprise sales revenue from the account(s) allocated.
Responsible to work closely with channel sales and marketing teams to penetrate deeper into the Enterprise account(s)
Coordinate with all the relevant internal (SE, Support, Channel, Marketing) teams to accomplish the work required to close the sale.
Perform sales planning for accurate forecasting of the business.
Manage account services through quality checks/ regular QBRs to Identify and resolve client concerns
Developing healthy relationship with our ecosystem of alliances or technology partner (AWS/ Microsoft/ VmWare/ Google) if required for deeper penetration in the account(s).
Communicate new solution and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to the relevant teams.
Work experience requirements :
Min 10-12 years of working experience and min 7-8 years in handling Govt. sales with proven sales track record
Experience in developing and managing Govt. sales cycle
Experience in the Information security/Cloud industry is expected.
Ability to network, create and build strong relationships senior executive relationships
Principal/OEM background or large SI preferred
Good integrity, Strong Analytical and Business Sense
Good communication skill in English & local dialect
