Job Description

Roles & Responsibility:
Plan, design, develop and implement test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.

Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.

Analyze failed tests and manage defects using the bug tracking tool I.e. Jira.

Provide feedback to product managers about additional enhancements.

Continuously enhance knowledge of functionality of the System.

Identifying and resolving the bugs raised by the client in stipulated time.

Deliver tasks within expected and committed due dates.

Help customers to understand & test the feature of the system over calls or remote sessions.

Prepare MIS and reporting of all tasks and prepare periodic performance review.

Prepare formal documents that can self-assist to customers in testing functionality of Systems.

Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful

and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.

Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.

Visit onsite to resolve bugs in case of emergency.

Skills:
Good communication and organizational skills.

Hands-on in Excel/Word.

Basic knowledge of operating systems and SQL database (if possible).

Understanding of FTP/SFTP/Network standard protocols (if possible).

Any Manual testing course will be beneficial.

Understanding of process metrics and manual testing.

Experience of QA scripting languages and coding unit tests may be beneficial.

Understanding of BFSI and BFSI Compliance.

Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with clients.
