Duties
The Local Guard Coordinator (LGC) is a Locally Employed (LE) staff member who is responsible for the first-line oversight of the local guard contract, personnel, and resources. As directed by the Regional Security Officer (RSO) and/or designated Assistant Regional Security Officer (ARSO), the LGC is responsible for contract administration and oversight of the local guard (LG) components of the facility defense and reaction plans for all US Government facilities under Chief of Mission Authority.
The LGC assists the RSO and/or designated ARSO with resource management of local guard budget, coordinates security planning and drills for facilities and residences with host-nation security forces, and assists in the development of logistical and financial plans. May be required to serve as Government Technical Monitor (GTM) for local guard contract.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the commercial security guard business, civilian or government police, or military is required. Must have experience in budget, fiscal process and contracting. (Please describe your previous and current job responsibilities in detail.)
Key Requirements:
Completion of Secondary school is required.
5 years of experience is required. (Please see Experience section.)
English and Hindi language is required (See Language section).
Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.

Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary school is required. (Please specify the name of the Certificate/Degree/Diploma course and the major subjects for each qualification you possess.)
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge of English (speaking, reading and writing) is required. Good working knowledge in Hindi (speaking) is required. This may be tested. (Please specify in your application your level of proficiency in each language listed here.)
SKILLS: Must be able to drive a Light Motor Vehicle and possess a license for the same. (Please attach a copy of valid Indian driving license with the application along with all the mandatory/required documents. Applications which do not have a copy of the license will not be accepted. U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older. We will not consider candidates below 25 years of age.)

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
