Your role
We’re looking for software engineers to:

• help drive our future reporting solutions to the Azure cloud, using the latest available cloud technologies
• be self-starters and take advantage of the extensive Azure training and certifications that are provided by UBS
• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• analyze business requirements for the Finance Analytics And Reporting Space
• design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
• providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production

Your team
You’ll be working in the UBS Finance Analytics and Reporting Space, as part of the Technology division in Pune. We provide IT solutions to our global business counterparts providing them with the analytical tools required to manage the company’s finances.
Your expertise

• software engineer/developer focused on developing Business Intelligence and Datawarehouse solutions
• 5 years of full stack working experience working on large datasets, as an SME in at least one of the following: Power BI, OLAP, or Oracle
• expertise coding with at least one of the following: SQL, Spark SQL, Scala, or Python.
• any experience with Kyligence, Kyvos, or Kylin is a major advantage
• some experience in OLAP and Dimensional modelling is a requirement
• any knowledge in cloud technologies and big data concepts is a benefit, especially in Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Spark Dataframes and Big Data concept
• experience in the design, plan and solution delivery in a large-scale enterprise environment
• an excellent communicator who can interact with our internal customers, analyze their requirements and develop empowering applications
• experience with Agile Methodology, Scrum Methodology is a plus
• REST-API experience is a plus.
• experience in the financial sector is a plus, but not essential
