Your role
Do you want to design and build next generation business applications using the latest technologies? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate?

We are looking for someone like that to help us:

• design and build CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Teamcity, Puppet
• interface with enterprise azure cloud operation team to enable azure services for developers
• develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations
• work with Cloud Engineering and Networking teams and build Infrastructure in Azure Cloud
• apply best development and DevOps practices and effectively utilize technologies
• in depth understanding of complex enterprises including cloud native, hybrid and on-prem environments.
• nice to have background as azure SME or cloud architect focusing on azure adoption.
• work collaboratively across the organization
• be comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• write high quality, reusable code and adhere to coding standards
• educate other team members and advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions.
• able to juggle multiple demands, deliverables, and priorities

Your team
You’ll be part of the GALM IT team in Pune. You’ll be working in a global team, with colleagues in the United States, United Kingdom, and India. We are developing innovative business intelligence solution which can hold 1 billion + records without hampering user experience. The team provides the systems that ensure to deliver in Collateral Inventory. Our current focus is fulfilling business and regulatory reporting requirements via Collateral Hub
We develop and maintain a range of systems including a MicroStrategy BI tool with extensive SQL and PL/SQL modules as well as supporting systems built with Java, Spark. We are always looking to the future and expect to invest in cloud and Big Data.
Your expertise

• bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years’ corporate working experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• hands on experience with CI/CD build chain and the tools and development processes behind (Teamcity, Jenkins or similar tools.
• hands on experience in container-based architecture and deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• experience with microsoft azure resources like of azure data factory, kafka, events hubs, adls, azure databricks, key vault, aks, azure ad.
• build, maintain and support all azure-based iac pipelines (arm/terraform/..) with unit testing.
• experience with Cloud Automation tools such as ARM Templates or Terraform
• experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Helm, or Ansible
• experience in scripting languages like shell, python, or scala
• hands on experience on knowledge with version control and build tools such as GitHub/Gitlab, Maven, TeamCity & Nexus
• understanding of spark/databricks batch and streaming solutions (delta lake, lakehouse)
• nice to have DevOps Engineer certification from any of GCP, AWS, Azure (Preferred)
• experience in Microstrategy, Power BI or any other reporting tool will be an added advantage.
• understanding of the Agile SDLC process.
