This position works as part of a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team responsible for managing UKG’s overall governance, enterprise risk management, and compliance with regulations. This position serves as a Cyber Risk consultant and will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining policies and security solutions in both operational and customer hosted environments. This position demands an organized action oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work and support on multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong communication and customer focus is required.
RESPONSIBLITIES
• Serves as an internal Cyber Risk consultant to the organization
• Supports continuous monitoring programs to ensure control activities related to endpoint protection, logical access, data protection, etc. are operating effectively
• Assists in the creation or improvement of continuous monitoring processes to support program expansion and efficiency
• Follows up on issues identified during the monitoring process with the appropriate technical teams to address and resolve
• Works cross functionally with Cyber Risk analysts supporting hosted environments to identify activities that may indicate widespread incidents or issues
• Supports the development, implementation, and management of security policies and procedures to ensure they remain aligned with business objectives and meet regulatory requirements
• Assist in the support of GRC projects and programs, including risk assessments and security ratings management
• Identify and implement operational improvements to gain efficiencies and improve service delivery.
• Liaise with all levels of the organization to provide guidance on information security and risk management programs
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BE/B.Tech/MCA degree in Computer Information Systems/Management Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop positive relationships and effectively communicate with employees, customers, auditors, business partners, and all levels of management.
• 2 – 5 years of experience working in a Risk Management or Information Security role preferred
• Excellent analytical skills to identify security risks and appropriate measures needed to help mitigate those risks. Must be comfortable in conducting independent research of issues and inquiries in order to provide guidance when requested.
• Experience with information security management frameworks such as AT101 SOC 2, ISO, ITIL, CobiT, NIST to include development of policies, process and procedures within the environment
• Technical background including Active Directory, firewalls, OS patching and backup, endpoint protection, and networking.
