Job Title: Regional Head – Unacademy
Location: Delhi
Job Overview:
As the Regional Head for offline centers at Unacademy, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the growth of Unacademy’s presence in your designated region. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing regional strategies, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the delivery of quality educational content and services. This position demands a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the education sector and regional dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering Revenue Targets: Ensure that the centers are profitable and revenue targets are achieved consistently.
2. Coordination with Central team to enable centers: Work in close coordination with central teams
such as finance, legal, HR in order to ensure that the centers are enabled and work at full efficiency.
3. Regional Strategy: Develop and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with Unacademy’s overall objectives, including expansion plans, market analysis, and competitor assessment.
4. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team, including sales, operations,
marketing, and support staff, to achieve regional goals and targets.
5. Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, assess market trends, and provide insights to drive regional growth.
6. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders,
including educators, learners, government bodies, and educational institutions.
7. Performance Metrics: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region, including
revenue targets, user acquisition, and customer satisfaction.
8. Resource Allocation: Manage regional budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient cost management.
9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies within the region.
10. Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on regional performance, challenges,
and opportunities.
11. Educator Management: As a leader, to ensure all the educator’s issues are managed in the
quickest possible TAT.
12. GTM Strategy & Delivery: Strategize and execute the GTM strategies for UPSC centers.
13. Business Development: Lead the business development part from the front for the entire region
Qualifications:
– Masters in Business Administration from a reputed college or University.
– Proven experience in regional management and leadership roles, preferably in the education or tech industry.
– Strong understanding of the education sector, regional market dynamics, and customer needs.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Proven track record of achieving and exceeding regional targets and objectives.
– Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute regional growth plans.
– Financial acumen with the ability to manage regional budgets effectively.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

– Travel within the region may be required to meet with stakeholders, visit regional offices, and oversee operations.
