Reporting to the Sr. Manager for Global Procurement – Strategic Sourcing Support team, this is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive multi-region team. As one of the Vendor Management System Support Specialist, you will work closely with both suppliers and internal stakeholders within Unisys to support the set up and management of external resources.
We are looking for motivated self-starters with some exposure to Procurement operation or other parts of the supply chain. As a member of the global team, the candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and accuracy with total ownership for the quality and timeliness of deliverables are essential qualities in a suitable candidate.
This position supports US&C / EMEA and liaises with vendors and internal stakeholders within the said region.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures open resource requests are distributed to eligible vendors in a timely manner.
• Assists vendor point of contact in setting up the selected contractors in the VMS accurately with all appropriate details such as agreed rates, applicable taxes etc.
• Performs online background checks through denial lists on selected contractors prior to setting up contractors within the VMS.
• Helps issuing and managing the Purchase Orders to the vendors through the VMS with accurate details.
• Liaises with vendor contacts, internal Unisys hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of approvals and other requirements.
• Works with vendors to help them with invoice submission based on approved timesheets of contractors.
• Assist internal stakeholders and vendors with process related issues.
• Generates scheduled and ad hoc reports on Unisys contractors to assist stakeholders in managing contractors effectively.
• Trains vendor contacts and internal stakeholders on process flows and efficient handling of the VMS.

• Basic understanding of sourcing/procurement processes and enabling technologies
• Willingness to work in US/ EMEA time zones to support business requirements.

Previous Experience and Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global corporation managing multiple geographies across time-zones
• Exposure to SAP Fieldglass (Preferred)
