Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

• Provides entry-level administrative and transactional support for authoring and editing of manuals and/or maintenance task cards used to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

• Manages inbound workflow as assigned and tracks projects to completion to support the needs of the Technical Operations organization

• Initiates basic technical document changes in accordance with United Airlines policy

• Interfaces with Maintenance Programs facilitating effective communication to manage workload in accordance with business requirements

• Audits technical documents for compliance and accuracy

• Supports creation of technical documents to perform aircraft maintenance

• Administrative support of technical document applications/software

• Engages in training and skill development, including relationship building

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field

• Limited professional experience required with ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work functions

• Basic knowledge of technical documentation procedures and controls

• Ability to complete reoccuring tasks

• Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship

• Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)

• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Basic awareness of XML authoring
