The Email team supports the service that entails Client services (outlook), MS Exchange (On-prem & EXO) and email security (Proofpoint) for the enterprise. The service constitutes over 450k mailboxes (user, shared & Apps), up to 10 million emails delivered daily, 12-14k incident tickets processed annually, up to 2k changes implemented annually and around 500 service requests processed annually, all serving a user base of over 450k which is set to grow with more Mergers and Acquisitions.

This role is to be primarily part of the email security team overseeing design, implementation, troubleshooting and supporting our email security infrastructure to ensure email service is uninterrupted round the clock. The candidate hired will design/test/implement new features, implement changes, assist with troubleshooting issues and be the POC for the service off US business hours

Primary Responsibility:

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

• 11+ years of IT experience

• Experience with enterprise email security architecture that includes email protocols, encryption, authentication, filtering technics

• Able to configure and manage email security tools and solutions, such as firewalls, anti-spam, anti-virus, malware protection, and email gateways

• Expertise in Proofpoint architecture and administration that includes POD, TAP, TRAP and EFD

• Understanding of DKIM, DMARC, SPF and email filtering services

• Knowledge and experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with hybrid Microsoft Exchange environments,

• Client connectivity (On-prem and cloud) and related Exchange components.

• Ability to provide direct support to end-users ranging from Tier 1-3 type issues, with command of general workstation support functions related to email as a service.

• Ability to propose and implement creative solutions to eliminate malicious (e.g. phishing) and unwanted email (e.g. spam, “graymail”)

• Ability to collaborate with business and IT staff to understand strategic and tactical business, application, or service requirements, then translate those into securely designed solutions

• Ability to provide complex technical guidance, oversight, and enforcement of security directives, policies, standards, plans, and procedures

• Cross-functional understanding of email operations, security practices and user experience

• Proven good communication skills
