Responsibilities:
Develop solid understanding of senior & niche roles
As an expert, find functional talent (optimal sourcing channels and methods), including labor market consultation, competitive intelligence, and mine passive talent
Accountable for the ongoing cultivation and evaluation of new candidate sourcing channels and methods.
Utilize contact management campaign in the CRM tool for candidate relationship management
Attend discovery sessions with recruiters and hiring managers when appropriate, provides consultation and access to pipelined talent.
Source candidates by utilizing various methods like employee referrals, database mining and job boards & social networking etc.
Develop tier sourcing plan in alignment with strategic sourcing plan
Lead sourcing strategy throughout the requisition life-cycle. Coordinate activities, time commitments/availability based on tiered sourcing process and leadership input on prioritization of work.
Drive effective partnerships with recruiters.
Escalate issues and process failures to leaders as appropriate.
Apply defined sourcing process (transactional or pipeline) to ensure most effective use of time and to drive results.
Evaluate the profiles of potential candidates by performing preliminary phone screen assessments. Evaluate ‘hot button’ motivators of passive and active candidates and influence candidate decision- making by outlining UnitedHealth Group/position level value proposition.
Assist in the coordination and development CRM strategies and communications as appropriate to the target audience
Accountable to track sourcing activities in the CRM tool. Responsible for monthly review of all performance metrics to include analysis of transactional and proactive pipelining efforts. Support the evaluation of source channel effectiveness.
Posting, resume review, pre-screening, interview scheduling and candidate dispositioning on application tracking system. Screen and interview, if appropriate, all applicants within one week of applying. Keep candidate status up-to-date on a regular basis.
Manage auto searches for common skills in Naukri, Monster, Taleo, CRM and LinkedIn etc.

Interview and evaluate candidates utilizing consistent templates and processes, leveraging behavioral interviewing techniques and assessment techniques
Present pre-screened candidates to hiring managers utilizing consistent process (Taleo presentation tool when appropriate) and ensuring the business only interviews qualified talent
Clearly articulates the “Life’s Best Work” employee value proposition at all times when communicating with candidates and HM’s.
Build credible presence with Hiring Managers and candidates; and has the ability to answer questions about the enterprise and the industry.
Move candidates through steps and statuses real-time per candidate SLA leveraging correspondence library.
Assist Hiring Manager in evaluating candidates by coaching on selection and behavioral interviewing techniques, offer negotiation, and overall process troubleshooting – including review and consultation of internal salary reference points, market compensation tables, and market intelligence in order to recommend offer package components.
Adopt Leader Point of View and expresses concerns and shares ideas using constructive communication techniques.
Execute on core TA processes as defined by the SLA for the role. Core processes/tools include:
Discovery process and documentation
Prescreening Questions
CRM tool usage
Adhering to sourcing/posting recipe
Candidate presentation tools when appropriate
Offer approval process
Moving candidates through steps and statuses
Documents req status and key events in Taleo according to best practices
Coding requisitions for Over SLA, cancellations, declinations, etc.
Source code documented in all Offer Accepts
Develop action plans for aging requisitions and keep management informed of progress against action plans in a timely manner
Work with TA Operations team to initiate offer processing including background screening.
Ability to develop recruiting strategy
Actively participates in Keep Warm process
Build mastery in requisition management including candidate dispositioning and management, requisition coding, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, BBA or relevant field.
3+ years of corporate recruitment experience.
Demonstrated ability to screen candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques.
Demonstrated proficiency in marketing/sourcing techniques to include: internet, cold calling, college alumni, interactive strategies, and social media.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate offers.
Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate proficiency with ATS system
