Project Manager is accountable for ensuring all projects are executed successfully with focus on quality and timely delivery. PM is responsible for project’s operational execution, from kick off to final delivery. PM will be the single point of contact for Program, Insights Managers and takes complete ownership of end-to-end project execution.
Conduct project planning activities that accurately forecast project timelines and quality. Implement defined processes for successful execution of the project. Effective planning on resources, communication and risk & change management. Demonstrate effective project execution and control techniques that result in successful projects. Articulate a strong working knowledge of ethics and professional responsibility. Implement effective organizational leadership and enhance skills for managing projects and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of projects of all complexity levels that span multiple audiences
Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Report on project success criteria results, management by metrics, and other management activities
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
Identify risks that may impact the timeline or quality and effectively mitigate them by workable solutions
Work closely with Insights Managers to ensure project expectations are met regarding timelines and quality
Obtain all material/inputs necessary and advise on format required (including, Questionnaire, Banner Plans, Report Shell, etc.,)
Facilitate project meetings, record all notes and follow-up on action items
Conduct project kick-off meeting to plan project deliverables and timelines
Monitor sample collection across all surveys; provide updates to Insights Managers on field status
Review the questionnaire and coordinate with Insights Manager on clear and concise programming notes
Ensure project schedules are intact and are updated in real-time
Address project clarifications
Review survey links to provide feedback to Survey Programming and submit to Insight Managers for approval
Lead vendor management as necessary – Ex: Glassbox
Proactively identify field issues and plan for resolution
Analyze, interpret, and prepare field reports with meaningful insights
Coordinate between Research Operations team and Insights Manager for on-time and Quality deliverables
Check on delivery milestones and update the teams regarding any changes in project plan. Ensure efficient schedule management
Act as troubleshooter and problem solver throughout life cycle of project
Conduct periodic project briefings with Research Operations team to ensure comprehensive understanding of project objectives
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Specific Accountabilities:
Participates in the development of strategic plans, goals, and objectives ensuring alignment with those of the company
Ensure project/LOB specific standard documents are up to date
Meet the prescribed quality metrics
Proactively identify process improvements and tools to improve efficiency
Ensures all Research Operations team members receive necessary training and education, including ongoing compliance training
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with internal processes and procedures
As an SME, impart Training and conduct knowledge sharing sessions for all members
Provide Team members with feedback, encouragement and advice
Maintaining compliances and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed
Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent
Build camaraderie among the Team and across teams
Building morale through encouragement and bonding activities
Review monthly team member performances and conduct year-end performance reviews
Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team huddles/meetings
Responsibilities and accountabilities will evolve as per the business requirements and individual capabilities
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from a premier B-School
Proven experience of leading/managing a team
Hands-on with Customer Experience Management Platforms (any one e.g. Qualtrics, Medallia, Satmetrix etc.)
Proficient in Customer Journey Mapping and Customer Life Cycle management tools and methodologies
Thought leadership in Customer Experience Management (Digital or offline)
Proficient with MS Office
Exceptional escalation management skills
Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve results
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both in-person and remotely
Excellent communication, organization, time-management and leadership skills
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Adapt quickly and easily; manage multiple deadlines and multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Problem solving ability coupled with ability to create logical solutions to resolve tricky situations
Adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously with challenging deadlines
