Primary Responsibilities:

• End-to-end maintenance of the DevOps pipeline from development, testing, Production installation and post production maintenance

• Coordinating with Azure administrator to setup the required infra for migration

• Create automated orchestration and deployment solutions using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, as well as other open source solution

• Own and deploy to non-prod and prod environments

• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage

• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible

• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management

• Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

• Setting up CI/CD pipeline and building test automation framework

• Drive technical discussions and design solutions around it

• Technically coach the team members and provide real time solutions to complex problems

• Perform Coding and unit testing independently and assist/mentor team members whenever required

• Adherence to coding standards

• Collaborate and Communicate effectively with other engineers/QE and onshore team

• Partner with business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end to end solution

• Develop high performance reusable code

• Practice agile solution delivery & influence teams towards engineering best practices such as DevOps / CICD / Everything as a code

• Follow engineering best practices and coding principles for successful delivery of program/project

• Partner closely with global teams to implement the design

• Works with less structured, more complex issues

• Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with Build and Deploy technologies such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Artifactory/Nexus/JFrog, GitHub and exposure to UNIX based system administration experience, configuring and supporting Jenkins

• Hands-on experience and ability to design/implement infrastructure with Azure like Front Door, APIM, App Gateway, AKS, VNET, Subnet, NSG, WebApps, APP Insight, Logic App, Logic Functions etc.

• Experience working on monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace etc.

• Knowledge of Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo

• Working knowledge on DevOps tools like Jenkins, CI/CD, GitHub, XL Deploy, Cucumber, Selenium tools

• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services

• Excellent understanding of Spark/Scala, Python, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Azure

• Excellent troubleshooting skill

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

• Ability to understand the end-to-end business requirements of our clients and proposing them a feasible solutions and implementing them in a better way to produce error free products for our clients and stakeholders

• Very proactive and ready to take ownership of things

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skill

• Ability to provide solutions that are forward-thinking in data and analytics
