Primary Responsibilities:

• Experience in the healthcare or insurance sectors

• Experience in stakeholder interaction

• Computer science, data engineering discipline

• Technically sound with the likes of ETL and scripting languages

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to the emerging new technologies

• Clear communicator, written and oral

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• Experience in designing and developing/coding software components in Bigdata, that includes various tools like Map Reduce, Hive, Sqoop, Kafka, Spark/Scala or Java and J2EE, devops, oozie, streaming, No SQL DB, CI/CD, bigdata

• Experience in working with SQL, PL/SQL and NoSQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, HBase and Cassandra.

• Experience in developing applications using Map Reduce, Pig and Hive.

• Experience in database design, writing complex SQL Queries and Stored Procedures

• Experience in Building, Deploying and Integrating with Ant, Maven

• Experience in development of logging standards and mechanism based on Log4J

• Experience in writing and executing unit test cases using Junit Testing Framework

• Beginner or intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS

• Involved in converting Hive/SQL queries into Spark transformations using Spark RDD and Pyspark concepts

• Gather and analyze business requirements
