Duties
Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the General Services Office (GSO), US Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will perform administrative duties for the section. These duties include, and are not limited to data entry into Embassy software i.e. ILMS and FMIS vehicle maintenance records, enter trip ticket information and gasoline invoices, and disposal actions. S/he will prepare task orders for blanket purchase agreement (BPA), serve as designated sub-cashier for the section’s petty cash account and submit driver’s travel request into internal software (E2 solutions) program. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: This position requires two years of clerical support in a fleet operations or office setting.

Education Requirements:
This position requires successful completion of High School (Class X) education.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.
AND
Level 2 (Limited knowledge) in Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Indian Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV/TRANS) driving license is required.
Please attach a copy of the valid Indian driving license with the application along with all the mandatory/required documents. Applications which do not have a copy of the license will not be accepted.
Please note: U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older. We will not consider candidates below 25 years of age. Any applicant that possess a valid driving license issued for less than 5 years will not be considered. Please note 5 years should have been completed by the Closing date of the vacancy. If the applicant had renewed their driver’s license they must include copy of old and current driver’s license in order for HR to confirm the issuance date. Applicants not providing old and renewed driver’s license (if applicable) their application will not be considered for the position.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in New Delhi, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
