Understand the application/feature/component and issues related to the same from Business users to resolve issues and create required SOPs/Runbooks
Monitor triage and resolve higher severity issues pertaining to systems/applications/infrastructure tools for end users via phone chats and/or via email
Identify the problem patterns and suggest better resolution techniques
Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements
Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in application; take necessary measures to address
Assist Lead 1 – Production Support on troubleshooting and Issue resolution; begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making critical decisions
Mentor Trainee Associate and Associate I II- Production Support to become more effective in their roles
Act as the technical SME for troubleshooting/resolving any reported production incident/ticket/issue
Learn business domain technology and system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account

Analyse and resolves the incidents/tickets within the optimal MTTR (Mean Time To Resolve)

Primary Responsibilities • Member of the Portfolio Construction and Trading team, providing level one support to application stack • Monitor and support request through ticketing system – ensuring initial details and resolution timescales are communicated in a clear and timely manner • Establish priority based on time / business impact for Start of Day transition • Work with end user to understand urgency and gather initial details for conflict resolution • Monitor system restart services, file loads, and track log and publication failures • Harness modern application best practices with code quality, Agile Development, DevOps, and Observability and support. • Utilize problem-solving skills to help your peers in the research and selection of tools, products, and frameworks (which is vital to support business initiatives) Qualifications & Experience • 5+ years of proven industry experience; bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields • 2+ years of proven industry experience; full cycle experience of SDLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications. • System, integration, and unit testing execution • Hands-on programming expertise in Phyton, SQL Additional Qualifications • Financial experience: Public and Alternatives Asset Management • Strong documentation capability and adherence to testing and release management standards • Design, development, modification, and testing of databases designed to support Data Warehousing and BI business teams • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, defect tracking (Asana, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow etc.) Soft Skills: • Candidate must have an analytical and logical thought process for developing project solutions • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a team environment • Ability to deliver under competing priorities and pressures. • Excellent organizational skills in the areas of code structuring & partitioning, commenting and documentation for team alignment and modifications
