Overall Purpose of The Job The Data Administrator will do data collection and contribute to data quality in ShipSure to ensure effective delivery to different stakeholders.
The Data Administrator will also work as integrated member of the Crew Operations team and to function in accordance with the crewing processes in order to ensure that :
a) Adequately and competently manned within a prescribe data quality in accordance with the applicable ship management/crew management agreement.
b) To report all deficiencies and missing data to the Planning Optimisation Manager
Key Responsibilities and Tasks 1. Identify, Compare and resolve data quality problems
2. Evaluate large dataset for quality & accuracy. Determine business impact level for data quality issues
3. Assist planning Assistant in validating active seafarer in restricted and open pool.
4. Assist the Planning Assistant to ensure Vessel data is up-to-date which is required to run optimiser engine.
5. Maintain list of seafarer as per planning cell for Planning Assistant to laise with planning manager for maintaining accurate and up to date records and last wedges in ShipSure Crewing.
6. Provide updated list of signoff seafarer weekly to mobilisation team to ensure debriefing and availability data updated by vessel coordinator / mobilisation coordinator within first 15 days after signoff
7. Maintain updated vessel list by closing database of vessel leaving management and updating database of takeover vessel.
8. Maintain TPA seafarer database by restricting them as per vessel & client & TPA.
9. Support direct employment assignment data accuracy.
10. Prepare reports to assist planning assistant.
11. Maintain list of Left company, NTBR cases seafarer for operation director review and for the improvement of Recruitment process
12. Maintain list of seafarer transferred to open pool with planning manager comments for discussion with Recruitment team & operation director
13. Other related tasks as may be assigned.
Required Experience ESSENTIAL:Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.Must be Graduate in any proffestional skillExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels.Through awareness and good understanding of cultural and diversity issues.Good organisational and planning skills.Proven ability to work to and meet tight deadlinesDESIRABLE:Previous relevant experience working in the Crew department of a marine/crew management company is desirable.
