JOB SPECIFICATION
7-10 Yrs experience in reputed automotive industries Supplier development , Supplier quality with SD Exposure, Purchasing with SD Exposure, Purchasing with Costing experience
BE Mech. / Automobile / Industrial Engineering
Experience in managing supplier performance for continual improvement
Proficient in MS office applications
Hindi added advantage
JOB LOCATION: VIPL Navalur , Travel- 50% of time
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Supplier Development, Purchasing experience in Plastic and Transformation, Non-ferrous castings, Fasteners
2. Lead Technical productivity workshops at Suppliers and generate Cost saving Reservoir
3. Support Sites profitability by deploying technical productivity actions
5. Support commodities localisation projects
6. Improve Supplier Process, Analyze cost and Reduce Part Cost
7. Deploy group methodologies and tools at Suppliers
7. Conduct periodic audits and reviews with supplier top management
8. Lead,facilitate, participate in CFT involving the Supplier, Valeo Purchasing- RnD- Operations team
