Responsibilities
System Requirements Development
- Elicitation and review of internal requirements for inclusion into system requirements specification
- Create and ensures traceability between stakeholder and system requirements for owned functions
- Generation of generic internal requirements for reuse purposes
- Liaise with the Hardware, Mechanical, Software and Test engineering to technically analyse, develop and allocate system requirements
- Generate conformity matrix and document track list
- Manage requirements baseline and release of system work products according to schedule
- Contributes to the Function Decomposition and supports in requirements classification and documenting them in Requirements management Tools
System Engineering
- General software, hardware & product design reviews, problem resolution, FMEA analysis.
- Participating in project and team meetings as requested
- Report on system engineering activities as requested to the hierarchical project manager
- Create daily and weekly activity report on the project and non project related activities
- Familiarize with working system using bench equipment to enable view on delivered product and to understand customer problems
- Complete scheduled tasks within assigned projects to deliver system output to the project team as per agreed timing plan
- Ensure all systems work products are base lined & managed through the Configuration Management & Change Control processes

Professional Experience
- Min 1 years experience in electronic product development environment ( System engineering, SW/HW Development)
- Experience with vision products an advantage
- Experience in automotive industry will be an advantage
- Microprocessor and/or Multicore SoC embedded development knowledge an advantage
- Experience with Quality Management System and System Engineering Processes e.g. ASPICE, ISO15504 an advantage
- Experience with activities in relation to functional safety (ISO26262) an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Doors, Model base design, Enterprise Architect, Application Lifecycle Management tools, codebeamer
∙ Basic understanding of software development models/standards CMMI, ISO15504 etc
∙ Basic understanding of Hardware development models and standards
∙ Excellent understanding of version control and change control process and tools
∙ Good problem solving skills
∙ Good communication skills, both written and verbal
∙ Good team player and ability to adapt to varying tasks on a weekly basis
∙ Confident, self-motivated, determined, energetic with high level of initiative and creativity
∙ Mindset of Continuous Improvement
∙ The ability to read and understand hardware schematics, Software architecture and mechanical designs. ∙ Basic understanding of camera system manufacturing standard and processes
∙ Basic understanding of system testing and validation
∙ Basic understanding of a vehicle communication networks CAN, LIN and Flexray
∙ Basic understanding of Environmental standards
∙ Excellent knowledge of Doors
∙ Good time management skills
Education/Training
- Bachelor degree in Software, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Automotive, Mechatronics or equivalent
- Masters in Electronics, SW, Mechatronics will be added advantage
