Sr Data Engineer:

Experience: 7-10 years

Technical Skills: Data Engineering, Data warehouse, Cloud based data platform experience, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake.

Candidate should also have Programming skills in Python or Java for custom ETL, data processing.

Experience in Snowflake data cloud is good to have.

Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 to 10 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience.

Technical Skills: Data Engineering , Data warehouse, experience in Cloud based data platform, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks.

Candidate should also have Programming skills in Python or Java for custom ETL, data processing.

Experience in Snowflake data cloud is a plus and good to have.

Job Responsibilities:

​1. Designs, builds and oversees the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.

1. Establishes and builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required.

2. Develops technical tools and programming that leverage cloud based data services/platforms and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize and transform data and to maintain, defend and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis.

3. Creates and establishes design standards and assurance processes for software, systems and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows and storage requirements. Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs.

4. Good team player and should have good communication skills.

5. Design and Implement ETL solutions end to end using Azure or Snowflake cloud data platforms.

6. Work with scrum team and follow Scrum/ Agile practices.

7. Understand and offer solution that needs business needs and also cost effective, provide cost analysis for the solution provided.
