Work as a Tableau (Visualization) Engineer – Part of InSightive team to deliver in-depth visualization/insights in analytical products developed by VARIAN.

• Tableau Desktop:

• Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management, Visualizations and its features, Using Tableau in built features, creating custom calculated fields etc.).

• Should have good knowledge Tableu dataset design, joins, union, dataset level filetrs etc., Using of database Tables, Views, SPs etc.

• Create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.

• Should have good knowledge on Tableau live dashboards, real time dashboards, extract based dashboards.

• Performance optimization for dashboards

• Tableau Server:

• Tableau server architecture and its working.

• Tableau server users and roles, alerts, mail configurations, node configurations etc

• TSM commands, its usability.

• SQL :

• Create and edit SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields

• Should be good in understanding and working with database objects like Table, Views, Stored Procedures etc.

• Basic understanding of SQL Jobs and SQL Cube

• Identifying patterns and meaningful insights from data by analyzing it.

• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.

• Designing dashboards and Managing Tableau Server

• Twisting SQL queries for improving performances. Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.

• Provide technical and functional development of data analysis.

• Strong on approaches to development, implementation, and managementof visualization and business intelligence technologies with hands on experience.

• Follow process and produce quality deliverables supporting the process.

Education:

• Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

Experience

• 4 to 8 years of IT work experience

• At least 4 years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau. At least 4 years of experience using Tableau v9.x or higher.

• Excellent Communication skills.

• Troubleshooting and Analytical skills.

Skills :

• Tableau v9.x or higher, SQL Server, T-SQL, Understanding on UX Space.
