This position is responsible for ensuring reliability and availability of plant equipment & utilities by managing the maintenance of the mechanical equipments at optimum efficiency levels, in order to achieve production targets within stipulated budget and time & as per the OH&S guidelines & standards.2. To ensure the safe, reliable and efficient working of all plant machinery and utility services by opting best practices of the time. Directs, coordinates and supervises all mechanical jobs, maintenance and workshop activities in the plant. Ensures that problem solving maintenance services are provided efficiently and expediently by team. Reassuring the cost effective budget in regards to capex, spares, fuel, energy etc. without compromising of safety, reliability and productivity.3. Ensuring completion of all maintenance tasks planned (including Major Shutdowns and assigned Replacement CAPEX/CAPEX to Maintain) and unplanned as per weekly plan by proper allocation of personnel as per required skills for each job ensuring the quality of mechanical maintenance tasks.4. Formulating & implementing initiatives for reducing overall cost of engineering maintenance function.7.
