Job Title: Data Analytics and FP&A Innovation Trainee

Job Description:
Assist in analyzing complex data sets and generating meaningful insights for both data analytics and FP&A functions within the Center of Excellence in Financial Analytics.

Collaborate with senior data analysts and financial analysts to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and process improvements specific to financial analytics.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and validate data from various sources for both analytical and financial purposes.

Apply analysis techniques, financial modeling, and data manipulation skills to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in data sets relevant to both data analytics and FP&A.

Participate in the development and implementation of data models, algorithms, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making processes for both data analytics and FP&A functions.

Contribute to the creation of financial forecasting models, scenario analysis, and dashboard building leveraging analytics methodologies.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in both data analytics and FP&A within the context of the Center of Excellence in Financial Analytics, and proactively suggest innovative approaches.

Collaborate with the FP&A team to enhance financial reporting and analysis by leveraging data analytics techniques and developing interactive dashboards.

Support the documentation and presentation of findings and insights related to both data analytics and FP&A within the Center of Excellence, including reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Assist in ad-hoc data analysis requests and contribute to ongoing data analytics and FP&A projects as part of the Center of Excellence team.

Requirements:
Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

Basic or advanced Excel skills, including simple or complex formulae, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.

Basic macro development to perform simple tasks.

Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to create meaningful visual representations of data and build interactive dashboards.

Knowledge of analysis techniques, financial modeling, and FP&A concepts specific to the Center of Excellence in Financial Analytics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop skills.
