This position is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including implementations and projects related to A/P. This position interacts with internal customers and external suppliers, understands and monitors internal controls, and communicates and interacts effectively in a team environment. This position works closely with AP management and staff, procurement, tax, and other Finance departments in support of time bound processes. Ensures adherence to accounting policies, practices and procedures.

What you will be doing:

• Perform & review all scheduled Payment batches.
• Understanding and working knowledge of end to end cash Disbursement processes and accounting fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of Cash Disbursement systems and technical understanding of integrated ERP systems, preferably Oracle R12.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting payment transactions.
• Demonstrated experience serving internal and external customers/suppliers
• Willingness to go above and beyond expectations to meet time bound deliverables
• Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
• Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Should be flexible working with Shift as it Involves rotational shift from 07AM-03.00 PM/11PM-8PM/ 2PM-11 PM.

Skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cash Disbursement or related process
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable and ability to offer support to accounting functions
• Ability to stay focus on assigned tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced changing environment
