Job Title: Sr Sales Operations Specialist – Global Sales Operations

Team: Center for Operations Excellence (COE), is part of Global Shared Services unit which provides various Sales support services to Global, AMS, EMEA and APJ geographies.

Role Overview: The Assignments Specialist plays a key role in running activities within the Global Assignment Tool to support reporting on individual sales revenue achievements. This role will provide you an opportunity to play an essential part in ensuring the effectiveness of the teams they support.
##
This role is a demanding one as you will be working in a fast moving, quarterly driven organization with monthly deadlines and as such it will be essential that you are enthusiastic and outgoing, with the ability to pick things up quickly and own them from the beginning to end.
##
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Sales teams and will have a broad range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Work as an owner for the Sales Territory assignments process to manage end to end activities for Sales Credit Allocation
+
Manage bookings data validation and sales rep territory assignment to ensure deals are accurately assigned for sales rep’s commissions calculation each month
+
Capture information on Sales Rep alignment to customer, territories, countries and segment
+
Improve bookings assignment Process by simplifying, maintaining daily uploads of data
+
Managing and validating rep queries, allocating or escalating for management approvals
+
Regularly reviewing and reconciling Assignment Reports, justifying movements
+
Building relationship and working with Sales to ensure accuracy of the data
+
Help facilitate setting up Sales Territories in Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Territory Manager
+
Ability to draw data insights, identifying gaps and highlighting the same for resolutions
+
Facilitate change management by developing and executing communications plans, assigning roles and defining accountabilities, creating training documentation, provide ongoing user support, implement reports and dashboards, etc.

Experience / Knowledge required:
+
Overall 8-10 years of experience within Sales Operations processes or a similar set-up, relevant work experience with bookings data validation and compensation allocation will be a plus
+
Effective communication skills with all levels of management and experience of working cross-culturally
+
Hands-on experience in advanced Excel
+
Self-starter and a proactive can-do innovative attitude, result-oriented
+
Flexible and adaptable to an evolving and dynamic business environment
+
Knowledge of Sales Cycle and its basic requirements
+
Good understanding of Sales Territories, account hierarchy & Customer Data
+
Willingness to work in night shifts
