What you’ll be doing…

• You will be a Tier-3/Subject Matter Expert and serve as an escalation point for Tier-2.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex tasks.
• Work with Design Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Manager on required tasks.
• Work with enterprise security device vendors to resolve complex incidents.
• Review and understand documented processes, update process documents, provide peer-to-peer training, and interact with high-level Verizon and customer managers.
• Assist other Tier2 engineers in complex tasks and Incident escalation calls.
• Create, distribute, analyze, and evaluate network management performance reports.
• Create and present a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document when requested.
• Participate in the Capacity Management process, audits and compliance assessments performed internally, and in design level changes.
• Participate in audit and compliance assessments performed internally.

• Product Vision around NAAS, Zero Trust, SASE and Legacy to Directional relationship (migration/ transformation)
  Quality control and practices enhancement leader for Security Operations

Where you’ll be working… In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in working with Security Products.
• Experience working in a twenty four seven environment.
• Knowledge in Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, Fortinet, Juniper firewalls.
• Knowledge in F5 load balancer andproxies.
• Experience workingon products like Zscaler, Netskope, Cyclance Protect, Palo Alto Prisma, iboss, and SD-WAN.
• Knowledge in Cloud Security products.
• Knowledge with principles, theories, concepts and technologies.
• Knowledge in industry trends in all areas of Network Security.
• Experience with interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Scripting knowledge.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Certification/s in Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, F5, Bluecoat.
• ITIL Certification.
• Routing/Switching skills.
• Ability to multitask andprioritize.
• Ability to resolve urgent issues.
• Excellent technical and non-technical presentations, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experienced with standards and procedures to manage and deliver twenty four seven technical operations.
