ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Digital QA associate is responsible for onsite/App testing and defect management. This position is for QA team within the Bangalore Digital Team, associate is responsible for testing on large projects. The role’s primary focus will be on Offer testing, App functional testing and Web projects supporting the Digital Platform, which focuses on enhancing the digital experience (Desktop Web, Mobile Apps and Tablets) for millions of VS&CO customers. QA associate must have a passion for great customer experiences, demonstrating good eye to detail and quality first attitude.

In addition to leading the work of Quality testing, this role involves frequent collaboration with US partners not limiting to Product owners, Product Analyst, and IT to ensure effective planning, communication, and issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform offer testing on VS.com and Apps. Good understanding of promotions flows on VS.com

Perform App functional testing, ensuring new and deployed functionalities are working as expected

Able to identify defects in software titles and report defects in a clear and concise manner.

Able to test activities on one large project or multiple smaller projects, including writing test cases and providing test status

Attend daily App scrum meetings and refinements

Understand and execute user stories and acceptance criteria

Daily Planning and allocation of daily deliverables

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize business and information needs including Product owners, Product Analysts, Developers, Digital coordinators, and Automation team

Demonstrates accountability on the projects assigned and its closure

Independently drives issues to closure, timely escalation to lead/manager

Successfully multi-tasks across project and non-project assignments, delivering on time with direction on priority from leads

Additionally, provide insights and tooling suggestions to improve processes and products

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Meticulous attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ability and willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings when necessary to support business requirements.

Ability and willingness to work weekends when necessary to support the weekend shift per business requirements

Excellent and effective written and oral communication skills

Organized and Self-motivated

Analytical and logical thinker with excellent reasoning skills

Thorough understanding of how to use the internet, web, and mobile applications

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field

2 to 3 years of relevant experience in testing domain, retail direct, ecommerce and website testing

Experience in integration, System, Smoke, Regression testing is a plus

Proficient with Jira or similar bug tracking database

Good understanding of Agile methodologies (SDLM) and UX/UI

CMS experience will be a plus

Expertise in App testing is a plus

Must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of key tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc

Experience in ALM test upload systems

Experience with a major brand in a retail e-commerce environment preferred.

LOCATION/TRAVEL: Bangalore based/No travel
