The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for securing employee access to our core applications in the most efficient, compliant and user-friendly manner, innovatively using the latest industry standards and tools. Our goal is to become the gold standard for IAM worldwide, and we are already on our way, recently winning Oracle’s annual Identity Management Innovation award. Visa’s IAM eco-system includes an extensive, and highly customized, rich Identity Management platform implementation. The team has successfully implemented many of the core components. With a constant moving and expending environment, the IAM team is exploring all processes and technology to expend the security coverage and improve the end user experience. With the additional features and the goal of extensive coverage comes a higher level of complexity, criticality, overall usage, and dependency on the environment. We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Systems Administrator with development background to become a member of our Global team of IAM experts to lead and influence further development, operations, and support of the IAM environment as well as collaborate with Visa eco-system IT teams and Cybersecurity stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a fundamental understanding of networking and security concepts as well as hands-on in-depth experience with a programming/scripting language. In addition, the candidate should possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and the willingness to take on challenges. Role and Responsibilities * Build run time authentication and authorization modules for deployment on large scale Linux/Unix and Windows environment. * Own & build tools to manage On Premise and Cloud Infrastructure. * Solid understanding and working experience on Layer 3 and 4 on the OSI Stack. * Experience working on various network layer protocols. * Build and Manage run time systems modules for various Linux Distros and Windows platform, be open to learning infrastructure and platform for various IAM products. * Devise best practices for infrastructure management and maintain a wiki on common environment issues to ensure developers and QA engineers can learn and apply from it. * Support our new CI/CD pipeline for infrastructure roll out and management. * In concert with key stakeholders, establish a strategic operating model for all Design horizontals and verticals to enable an industry-leading product design practice internally and externally * Work within a globally distributed team of IAM team members and customers, sometimes having to provide support outside of normal business hours and on weekends. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs. • 5-8 years’ of experience with Engineering Degree (B.Tech / B.E) Skill and Experience • 4 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. M.Tech, M.Sc., M.S.) in EC/CS/IT • 2+ years of solid hands-on working experience on Network Protocols like SSH, Telnet, RDP, FTP, DNS, LDAP • Well versed in C/C++ and C# Programming for building OS Tooling and Systems Modules. • Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery • Experience writing Shell Scripts (Bash, Powershell) • Knowledge on Docker or Similar Containerization and Container Orchestration tools. • Prior experience on IAM products related to Authentication, provisioning, authorization, SSO, and/or enterprise security protocols like SAML, OpenID, OAuth is a big plus • 3+ Years hands-on experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (SAML, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, WS-Fed, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM • 4+ Years of experience administering and deploying Identity Manager service(s)Tier 0 / Tier 1 services • 4+ Years of experience of troubleshooting application(s) in complex network environment and writing situation report to prevent future occurrence of event. • CISSP, CISM or any other industry certification will be an added advantage Visa has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy.
