Visa Hiring for Senior Software Test Engineer at Bangalore, India Full Time

Visa Corporate IT (CIT) group has embarked on a major technology transformation journey and Engineering, Apps and Analytics (EAA) team plays a key role transitioning Revenue and pricing systems to next generation technologies. As part of this strategy, EAA – Web COE team is looking for curious, creative, and technology experts to join our growing team. We focus on delivering global platforms that enable Visa’s Pricing, Invoicing and Operating Certificate applications, which are used by Visa business partners to service Visa clients globally. The successful candidate is expected to lead testing efforts for the WebCOE platform within the DevOps team in Bangalore (India) office. The selected candidate will be fully responsible for using modern software engineering and testing principles to deliver robust applications to our global users. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Creating and maintaining test automation suite in agile environment. • Executing and reporting test automation results. • Creating test design/test cases based on business requirements/user stories. • Executing test cases, logging and tracking defects. • Evaluating business requirements and translate them into automation solutions. • Ensuring delivery of high-quality product, meeting all requirements within the scheduled timeframe. • Coordinate and support integration, end-to-end testing with peer Test Engineering groups to ensure seamless releases. • Foster partnerships with upstream and downstream teams including development, UAT, and user groups to ensure alignment and consistency in reducing product quality risk throughout SDLC. • Coaching and mentoring new team members. • Overall 5+ years of experience in software testing. • 3+ years of experience in developing automated test suite using Selenium. • Good experience in Java platform and Java development skills. • Must have experience in handling dynamic objects and Page Objects Module framework implementation using TestNG, Maven and Java. • Knowledge of web service technologies (REST/SOAP) and API based automation testing. • Should be proficient in creating test design. • Experience in version Control tools: Git, SVN or similar. • Good knowledge and experience working with Database/Document systems like MySQL, Mongo. • Experience in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) though Jenkins or similar. • Should be proficient in JIRA for test execution, logging/tracking defects and creating reports. • Experience in ETL test automation is an added advantage. • Experience with agile methodologies, including knowledge of Agile and DevOps working models. • Highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies. • Strong written communication, oral communication, inter-personnel skills with attention to details. • Strong analytical/problem solving skills. • Ability to work both independently and in a team. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive timelines. • Team player with a can-do attitude. • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related technology/engineering discipline.
