Job Description
Visa’s Corporate IT Collaboration Technologies team is looking for a curious, creative, and talented technologist to join our team. Position Functions
Provide support, maintenance, and administration of SharePoint 2016 and 2019 servers.
Troubleshoot issues and provide level 3 technical support to the level 2 support team and SharePoint users.
Respond to questions or concerns from business owners regarding the function of the software.
Maintain, tune, and patch systems for optimum performance and security with no or minimal downtime.
Stay ahead of SharePoint developments and new features.
Proactively monitor environments.
5 years of experience with SharePoint administration including implementation.
Maintain all SharePoint administration documentation.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Five years of experience installing, configuring, deploying, and managing SharePoint.Experience administering core technologies upon which SharePoint depends: Windows Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), SQL Server, Active Directory, and networking infrastructure.Expert knowledge in SharePoint 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online functionality and components.Expert knowledge of SharePoint 2016, 2019 Central Administration portal and functions.Expert knowledge of load balancing configurations and troubleshooting.Expert knowledge of utilizing ULS logs.Knowledge of database encryption methods.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Servers.Possess knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security.Knowledge of SharePoint Online administration is a plus.Front-end experience working with SharePoint (2016, 2019, Online) features such as lists, libraries, pages, versioning, modern pages and UI vs. classic, calendars and Outlook integrations, conditional formatting in lists, managing large lists, storage quotas, managing permissions, master pages, InfoPath, workflows, Office 365 integrations, integration with Teams.Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON.Create and execute PowerShell scripts to perform admin tasks and reporting.Migrate data and sites with third-party applications such as ShareGate and ShareGate PowerShell commands.Have knowledge of disaster recovery procedures.Handle confidential and sensitive company information responsibly.Possesses ability to think creatively to devise customizations and uses for SharePoint within governance policies.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Exhibits knowledge of software development industry.Demonstrate strong leadership skills, collaborate well within team.Demonstrates ability to work and conduct research independently.Strong written and verbal communication skills across the technical team, as well as business partners.
