Job Description
The Sr SW Test Engineer will play a critical role in designing and implementing test solutions across all testing phases, establishing and following quality standards to deliver high quality releases. It’s an opportunity to learn, lead and work on new technologies.
Responsibilities – what you’ll do:
Perform API, UI functional and automation testing.
Maintain or develop automation suites using open source tools.
Build comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features, regression, performance and end to end testing.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Establish or maintain quality standards to ensure smooth releases.
Identify, record, document thoroughly bugs, perform detailed regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Build and lead development, test, integration, performance and stage environments.
Collaborate with scrum team in refining user stories, sprint planning and test execution.
Identify processes inefficiencies and provides innovative recommendations.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
