Job Description

We are seeking to hire an experienced Copywriter for our Marketing department.The right candidate will have exceptional English language skills. You know what copywriting is and you can prove your success at driving leads and sales. In fact, that’s your specialty.You’re creative. An ideas factory. A word-whizz that turns dry content into the exciting, income-generating copy. Whether it’s a clever tagline, a fully-integrated marketing campaign, or a technical case study, you deliver. On-time, on brief, and with outstanding results.Of course, you know copywriting principles and you know how to use them. You perform thorough research, and you’re a tone of voice connoisseur.You have a natural ability to manage multiple briefs across different media in a fast-paced business, while consistently delivering quality work. You work well as part of a team, but also
deliver your best when trusted to get on with creating copy magic.Above all, you know what makes people tick, so you can change your readers’ behavior using nothing more than ink on a page or pixels on a screen.Responsibilities

• Write conversion copy for email marketing, automation, landing pages, PPC ads, display, and conversion rate optimization experiments.
• Write digital content, newsletters, video and audio scripts, and general marketing collateral.
• Work with our clients to create compelling case studies and news stories through client interviews.
• Monitor competitor activity, customer behavior, and the latest trends to improve the performance of your writing and content.

Essential skills

• Exceptional written English language skills.
• Ability to generate creative, engaging, concise, grammatically correct, accurate copy, using appropriate writing styles for different audiences
• You should be analytical, with an eye to developing messaging and conveying the company’s core values in the most effective way.
• Ability to write copy that stands out in a market saturated with similar messages.
• Management of multiple projects to ensure all copy is delivered to brief, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Strong commercial awareness and can create copy designed to achieve specific business goals.
• Solid research skills and a proactive approach.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to improve.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least two years of professional copywriting experience in a technical field – ideally within construction.
• Demonstrable understanding of copywriting best practices.
• Experience creating lead generation content as well as technical case studies.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office.
