Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the mechanical requirements for the product
• Definition of the mechanical architecture
• Lead the mechanical design of an automotive electronic product
• Management the ME part of the project – planning, timing, risks ,tasks, change management, etc.
• Customer and suppliers communication;
• Alignment with manufacturing
• Visteon process compliance;
• conducting DFMEA

Competencies Required and Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate or Post Graduate with 8 to 12 years experience in Mechanical Design.
• Positions requires knowledge in Automotive Electronics products, Plastic parts design, Die casting, Decoration technologies and Project management
• Master Degree in the field of mechanical engineering;
• Project management skills, including Requirements, Change and Risk Management;
• Task management and planning;
• Root cause analysis and problem solving skills;
• Active team leadership and motivation/co-ordination of others;
• Experience with demonstrated leadership in a project;
• Proven experience of electronics products with displays;
• DFMEA knowledge and experience;
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
• Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks and assignments;
• IT awareness with MS Office exposure.
