Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a Navaratna Company under Ministry of Steel, Govt. of

India, invites experienced and competent Medical Professionals for the following posts on Contract /

Tenure basis forits 160 bed modern hospital at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

1. Minimum  Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS from a University / Institute recognized

Educational by the Medical Council of India

Qualification &  Masters Degree(MD/MS/DNB) in concerned Specialty/Department

Experience for from a recognized Medical Institution;

Specialists  MCI/Medical Council of State Registration is a must;

• Candidates who are on Service bond are not eligible.
• For Ophthalmology, Experience or Fellowship in Posterior Chamber/

Anterior Chamber is desirable.

2. Minimum  Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS from a University / Institute recognized

Educational by the Medical Council of India (MCI);

3. Duration of Engagement would be on contractual basis for TWO YEARS from the date

Engagement of joining. The contract may be extendable on yearly basis at the discretion

of the Management for further Three Years. Each term will be fresh contract

without any continuity.

4. Compensation Description Consolidated Pay per month

Specialist `1,25,000/-

Medical Officers `75,000/-

Notes :
The remuneration shall be hiked annually by 5%.

# Compensation for Emergency call duties (beyond normal duty

hours) -Only for Specialists

`3,000/- up to 4 hrs shall be paid. In case emergency duty extends beyond

4hours,`800/- per each extra hour shall be paid. However, total

compensation towards Emergency call shall not exceed `5,000/- per call.

Further an Additional Compensation of`1,000/- for Emergency Call

Duties during night time between10:00 PM to 6:00 AM shall be paid.

5. Leaves 12 days leave per year shall be allowed during the period of contract.

6. Working Hours 8 hours per day for 6 days week either in shift duty hours (i.e., A/B/C/Gen

shifts) or in split Duty timings depending on the need, on all working days.

Split Duty timings constitute duty hours from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and

from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Incumbents have to attend call duties and emergency duties as and when

needed.

7. Accommodation Accommodation shall be provided to the appointee in the Company’s

township, on request and on recommendation of Head of the Department,

subject to availability. The charges for water and electricity on actual

consumption and House Rent Recovery (HRR) for accommodation will be

payable to RINL by the appointee, at rates applicable to regular executives.

8. Medical Facility Medical facility available at RINL hospital shall be extended to Self and

dependent Family Members. However, no reimbursement of expenditure on

account of purchase of medicine shall be made. Outside referrals for

treatment / consultation are not reimbursable.

9. Termination of The contract will stand terminated at completion of the prescribed tenure.

Contract The contract may also be terminated during the tenure with two months’

notice in writing by either side.

10. Job Description for Specialists

i. Paediatrics  To attend IP/OP and emergency call duties.

• To take care of admitted patients in Wards.
• To attend emergencies including Labour Room calls.
• In case of emergency have to work in any other place as and when

required.

ii. Ophthalmology –  To attend IP/OP and emergency call duties.

Posterior Chamber  To perform Eye surgeries whenever required;

/Anterior Chamber  To do refractions for the needy.

• In case of emergency have to work in any other place as and when

required.

iii. General Medicine  To attend IP/OP and emergency call duties.

• To take care of admitted patients in Wards.
• In case of emergency have to work in any other place as and when

required.

1. Selection Process:
Selection will be through Online/Walk-in Interview of shortlisted candidates followed by Medical

examination. In case of more number of Applications, candidates will be shortlisted based on Post

Qualification Experience.

3. Candidates have to upload scanned copies of the following certificates during the registration

process:
i. SSC / Matric Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth

ii. MBBS/MD/MS/DNB Certificate(s)

iii. Medical Council of India/State Registration certificate

iv. Post qualification Experience Certificate(s) with date of issue, name and designation of

issuing authority.

v. SC/ST Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority

vi. In case the candidate belongs to OBC Category, he/she is required to produce OBC (Non-

Creamy Layer) Certificate in the prescribed format issued not later than one year from the

date of interview.

4. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

2. Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel/restrict the engaging

process without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof.

3. While appearing for selection process, the candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfil the

eligibility criteria and other requirements mentioned in this advertisement and that the particulars

furnished by them are correct in all respect. At any stage of engagement process if it is detected

that the candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria and/or does not comply with other

5. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending Personal Interview/Medical Examination.

6. Candidates employed in Government departments / PSEs / Autonomous Bodies have to produce No

Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

7. The final selection is subject to the candidates being medically fit as per Company’s Medical Rules.

8. Any candidate submitting false declaration/certificate or indulging in malpractices during

selection process will be disqualified and also debarred from future notifications.

9. The Contractual / Tenure basis employment will NOT confer any right to claim the status of a

regular employee of the Company or to claim for employment or assignment in RINL in any

manner in future.

10. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.

11. On selection, the candidates should have to join within twenty one days.

12. Selected doctors will be called upon to perform any additional duties in the interest of RINL

administration including Industrial accidents and National Programmes.
