Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
To be successful in this role, you will bring a passion for analytics and problem solving combined with experience in lead and pipeline reporting, marketing automation systems and dashboards.
The ideal candidate will not only enjoy building pivot tables for data analysis in excel, but will also have experience presenting results. Exceptional storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills will help you to communicate insights effectively across all levels of the Marketing organisation.
You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Analytics) leveraging your project management experience to plan effectively and deliver key outcomes within tight deadlines.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
The Marketing Reporting Specialist will primarily focus on :
Communicating weekly lead funnel insights to Marketing Leadership
Reporting out the business impact of our marketing campaigns and programs against our KPI targets on a regular cadence
Supporting Quarterly Business Reviews at the Global and Regional level by providing key KPI data analysis and insights
Training and enabling marketers on metrics and how to use our suite of Marketing Dashboards to gain insights and make data driven decisions
Work with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the Americas, APJ and Europe
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
You will be joining the Global Marketing Strategy & Operations organisation, a team of 40 professionals spread across three geographies: Americas, Europe and APJ.
You will report to the Demand & Field Insights Senior Manager, Andrea Zauner, an experienced analytics manager who joined VMware as Performance Reporting Specialist in 2017. As a team of passionate analytics professionals, we serve multiple stakeholders in the Global Marketing organization and come together to share insights and learnings so that we can leverage best practices. We are focused on getting the most out of our working life, making sure we have fun while delivering on our business objectives and growing both our personal and team skills. With Andrea based in Sydney and team members located across the US, we are a distributed team who stay connected via Zoom, Teams and online collaboration tools.
Where is this role located?
The location of this role is flexible within India. Work will be done from an office some days during a week and other days from a non-VMware building.
