As VMware continues to focus on delivering various products that digitally transform our customers, this exciting opportunity with the Business Process Management (BPM) team involves laying down internal business processes that help deliver such products efficiently to our customers. This job position will provide an opportunity to understand, optimize, reengineer and improve the end to end business processes across VMWare. It also provides a great opportunity to work with Business Leaders, Process Owners and across multiple business groups and help them onboard on the Business Process Management journey. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

• Process re-engineering and simplification/standardization/optimization of our global processes resulting in a significant business impact for VMware.
• Collaborate with business partners and regional counterparts to define and implement process improvement initiatives and to drive partnerships
• Utilize Process Mining tools to analyze reports that identify potential process issues and summarize the impact of uncovered opportunities
• Research process & recommend best practices to satisfy business needs; analyze the root cause and provide solutions that is agreeable to business stakeholders.
• Coordinate with RPA development on various process automation opportunities to ensure delivery and realize maximum process benefits.

What type of work will I be doing? What assignments or requirements* will I be performing on a regular basis? A BPM Analyst is required to be detail-oriented, with a consistent track record of identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives. The role requires a high degree of cross-functional global interaction demanding excellent communication skills. Should have strong project management, analytical, communication, influencing, and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization. You must be willing to work at both a tactical and strategic level. Here are some of the assignments associated to this job role,

• Applying the prior experience/skills associated to process excellence in high technology/software industry business models and core processes.
• Streamlining process in the following domains – (1) Idea to Offering (2) Demand to Quote (3) Order to fulfillment (4) Invoice to Cash (4) Issue to resolution (5) Procure to Pay (6) Record to Report (7) Hire to Retire
• Working with BAs, Global process owners, cross-functional teams, product owners, designers, and Architects
• Identifying RPA opportunities within a business function and hosting workshops to discuss and prioritize such optimization opportuntieis.
• Process mapping using IBM Blueworks Live.
