Senior Member of Technical Staff We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering Operation team driving the delivery of VMware flagship products. Come be part of a team tackling complex and challenging problems to fundamentally transform how engineers work. In this role you will design and develop key services that the developers use to get their job done by improving and accelerating the product delivery through next-generation CI/CD automation and real-time analytics dashboards. Role and Responsibilities You will be part of a top-tier engineering team that values open communication, innovation, empowerment and a customer success culture. You will also collaborate across multiple VMware product development teams on creative projects, with the authority and scope to apply your expertise in a dynamic and technically driven environment. We are seeking engineers who love building robust, highly performant scalable systems and help revolutionize our integration and delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic innovation-oriented environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously while inspiring others in the team. Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, M.S. preferred
• 9+ years experience in software development
• 7+ years software development experience with proficiency in Python, TypeScript
• 4+ years experience in building and managing CI/CD systems
• 4+ years experience in handling end to end software development
• Deep understanding on Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of test-driven development
• Solid background with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong Agile software development and project management fundamentals
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies, techniques, and best practices
• Proven ability to handle multiple, complex technical projects and have the flexibility to work in a very dynamic environment.
• Expertise in analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with a lot of intellectual curiosity

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly desired – Experience with application scalability and performance tuning
• Highly desired – Experience with cloud-native application development
