Description

The Senior Infrastructure Operations Team Leader supervises others volume and quality of work relating to the operation and management of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements to support the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. They ensure availability and effective functioning of internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external). Including monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Job Responsibility

5+ years of relevant experience as PostgreSQL DBA.
Experience on any one of the Opensource DB technology (Mysql/Mongo/Couchbase/Cassandra) administration on AWS would be an add-on advantage.
PostgreSQL Architecture, Installation & Configuration.
Perform User access management, schema management, performance tuning.
Creating and Managing PostgreSQL databases.
Monitoring database performance, implement changes, PG Admin, Moving Transaction logs, Reliability & WAL.
Hand-on experience on install and configure PostgreSQL database system (i.e. v9.x to 13.x).
Implementing PostgreSQL related tools like BART, EFM, PEM, BARMAN, pgBackRest.
Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure.
