Job Purpose

To provide innovative vision, strategy and Solutions in all areas of technology use, planning, development and support for Enterprise Products. To collaborate engage with management & business team to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost effective technology solutions in Enterprise Solutions & IOT domain.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

The IOT & Enterprise solution is still a developing area in Technology domain; having a need to constantly evolve to understand complex enterprises customer requirements and explore innovative approaches to deliver best fit solutions. The role is expected to provide technology solution to new enterprise & IOT/M2M products and direction to drive continuous improvement of in accordance with technology standards and procedures. The ownership includes solution design, architecture finalization, partner selection, integration model finalization, alignment with operations for operations model finalization, alignment with security team for end to end security guideline implementation, etc.

• Planning
  • Define overall strategic and operational leadership of information management and technology including planning, development, evaluation and coordination of all related initiatives
  • Establish technology discussions, prioritization and governance to ensure sufficient and effective decision making to finalize technology solutions and vendors for delivery
  • Development of detailed 3 to 5 years’ technology roadmap identifying investment costs and implementation plan
  • Explore various cellular and non-cellular connectivity technologies for IOT & Enterprise and recommend the suitable options to executive management

• Innovation
  • Lead innovation, integration and standardization in structure and processes relating to IOT & Enterprise solutions technology
  • Determine that innovations in the use of information systems and technologies meet the core needs of business and customers
  • Explore various innovative devices, platforms, solutions & technologies to deliver to complex & varying requirements from enterprise customers

• Policy, Procedure & Guidelines
  • Drive the development and maintenance of technology product process, procedures and standard guidelines.
  • Direct strict adherence to defined policies and procedures while delivering to business requirements
  • Re-assess and benchmark defined guidelines to make it is suitable to changing technology and industry landscape – ensuring end to end lifecycle management

• Products & Solutions delivery

• Drive technology solutions, architecture blue-print, integration approach and rollout plan created by functional teams – basis business requirements

• Plan capacity matrix and expansion requirements for various Enterprise solutions and IOT platforms/use cases basis recommendations from planning, solution and operations team

• Assess the finalized solution with stakeholders to ensure compliance to regulatory, security, privacy requirements

• Operational excellence
  • Lead the development of operational processes and service levels for various Voice, Text and Data based connectivity solutions and IOT platforms as per use cases.
  • Establish partner governance model and alignment for roadmap, governance and business reviews
  • Escalation management to senior levels for critical business impacting issues

• Financial and budgetary responsibilities
  • Finalize technology roadmap and alignment to business strategy – analyze the CAPEX/ OPEX investment requirement for various solutions
  • Develop & Administer technology budget for enterprise solutions.
  • To have the budget execution basis recommendation from planning & solution design team for finalized BOQ, Solution and Scope of work.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• At least 10 years of professional experience in creating and executing products solutions.

• B.E./ B. Tech. – with Telecommunication or Information Technology specialization

• Planning, Solution design and operational experience in specific domains – i.e. Enterprise solutions, Voice based services, Data/ Cloud solutions, etc.

• Knowledge and experience in mobile network call flows, analysis and driving solution on best optimum way.

• Experience in emerging technologies including cloud-based and mobility systems that can be implemented within organization.

• Experience in designing IoT technology blueprint and developing various use cases, knowledge of sensors, IOT devices, IOT gateways is preferred

• Understanding of Mobile Apps, Web portals – design, architecture and implementation model, Knowledge of Data analytics and machine learning technologies required

• Knowledge of Service modelling, deployment architectures, Hardware Infrastructure, Software languages, Database & Operational models & IT/Technology security practices understanding

• Experience of leading large scale projects starting from RFP stage through implementation and support is preferred.

• Experience of preparing and reviewing budgets for business plans and getting the same implemented

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills; both verbal and written

• Strong presentation skills with ability to prepare briefings and present technical information to technical and non-technical audience

• Outstanding analytical and problem solving ability

• Mobile network deep knowledge across different technologies.

• Enterprise solution understanding and knowledge.

• Knowledge on latest technologies like Cloud, IOT, Machine learning etc.
