Job Purpose

Operation & Maintenance of IN and related Nodes

Implementation of new Nodes and Integration with existing network elements

Expansion and upgrade

Hardware support and Inventory Management

User access management in IN and Vtopup

Regulatory Compliances & Process Implementation
Partner and Vendor Management

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Keeping uptime of all IN and associated nodes
KPI monitoring and maintaining
IN projects – Hardware / Software expansion and upgrade, patch implementation, integration with new core and associated nodes
Implement System integrations of IN nodes, existing and new, with Core / VAS nodes, IT systems etc
Faulty HW replacement / spare management / coordination with SNOC for FM
R&R / RMA management
Comply with all regulatory agencies & internal compliance requirements & Implement of processes, HW/SW, operational problems/issues, testing new features & allied activities under vendor scope
Creation, deletion and modification of user ID as per SOP for IN and Vtopup

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

Must have basic understanding of prepaid call flow
Must be conversant with Amdocs / Optima (RECC) charging systems, knowledge on Ericsson charging system will be appreciated
Must have at least 4-6 years of experience in System Ops & Admin in Amdocs charging platform
Must have knowledge of SQL/PLSQL query
Must have knowledge of unix/Linux OS and scripting
Good Scripting and Programming knowledge including Shell, Perl, automating and streamlining routine maintenance tasks
Working knowledge in Debugging and Analyses of complex issues within large scale operation platforms
Good communication skill for liaising with other cross functions like Marketing, RA etc
Should be flexible enough to support business during odd hours, week end and holiday
Must have knowledge of Voucher management and Vtopup systems

Must have technical / professional qualifications

Engineering Graduation in Electronics / Electronics with Communication / Computers Science
