• Need to deliver the Programs as per the targets assigned on Quality, Delivery, Cost within the budget. • Deliver and manage Programs by following AGILE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT of Vontier Business System. • Coordinate internal and external resources associated with the delivery of assigned Programs • Manage Program budget allocation for assigned Programs, including preparation of financial status reports for the PMO and functional leaders. • Coordinate with Cross Functional Team such as Product Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement, Operations, Reliability, Plant quality, Supplier quality to deliver targets assigned for the Programs and be a focal point of contact as well as to ensure all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to. • Manage multiple Programs covering scope of electronics, Software, mechanical & Hydraulics aspects with the team spread globally. • Coordinate with Global Product Management, Regional Leaders & Global Engineering for signoff on Program scope. • Develop a Master Program Plan as per the AGILE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT with detailed Weekly action plan, detailing the resource and time committed for the assigned Program. • Develop the Cost targets as per the Business Plan and in line with the Business requirements. • Investigate and negotiate change proposals with relevant stakeholders. • Periodic Monitoring of Programs to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met as per the agreed time frame. • Direct and coordinate the development of strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented Program outcomes and provide advice on remedial action. • Manage the expenditure of Program budgets and prepare associated financial summary reports for members of the steering committee and functional leaders. • Conduct Alpha and Beta Trials in Field for Product validation as per AGILE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT guidelines. • Responsible for ensuring the Activities right from Program Initiation to Program closure. • Prepare Program status reports and other reports required as per Program management methodologies of VBS.
Education & Experience: Graduation: BE Mechanical / Production / Electronics Post-Graduation: Preferred ME/ MTech Or Program Management Total Experience in Years: 10-15 Years of total exp, out of which at least 5-7 years in New Product Development. Background and Skills: The ideal candidate must have experience in components & product development in commodities such as Hydraulics, Mechanical, Electronics, Die Cast Parts, Sheet Metal, Plastics etc. • Excellent skills in Microsoft Business Software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Program 2010) • Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to correspond between multiple • Gilbarco Locations & facilities across the hierarchy • Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and execute technical development Programs with cross • functional teams. • Need to lead one small & one medium size Program at given period. • Must have PMP certification from PMI (Program Management Institute) or any equivalent course • Understanding of Program finance. • Self -Starter
