General Purpose of the role:

APIs are now being widely used globally and available over Cloud for quick subscription by clients andpartners easily; Wartsila is already having API Management Portal implemented which is running successfullyfrom couple of years on Azure Cloud and now the volumes & usage of API’s increasing very faster, and theincrease in demand for new APIs, we are looking for an API expert who can join us to support on API Mgmtactivities like Development & Enhancements and Maintenance & Support.

As an Cloud API Developer you will:

• Develop APIs and Python, and API Management on Azure cloud services.
• Follow the RESTful architectural style, and the OpenAPI specification.
• Work on Python based web frameworks (e.g. Django REST Framework), Database (e.g. PostgreSQL)following DevOps guidelines.
• Need have exposure to ReactJS, Front-end development skills (hooks and class-based constructs).
• Gain Knowledge and develop Integrations (using WESB) using SOAP, REST, JSON and XML.
• Communicate with Internal and Business stakeholders, and support API Mgmt service.

An ideal candidate must have:

• BE/BTech computer science or equivalent degree with 3 + years of experience.
• Expertise in the RESTful architectural style, and Python based web frameworks (e.g. Django RESTFramework).
• Familiarity with the OpenAPI specification, and knowledge on Database (e.g. PostgreSQL) and DevOpsis appreciated.
• Exposure to ReactJS, Front-end development skills (hooks and class-based constructs) will be anadded advantage.
• Knowledge on Integrations Development (using ESB e.g. Software AG webMethods) and understandingof SOAP, REST, JSON and XML.
• Excellent Communication, Business and Customers facing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
