Job Description:
Identify village/clusters withing ~75 km radius and create/expand network of farmers accessible from the assigned CC/cluster & maximise procurement from them
Maintain database of farmers including their land and banking details and map out sourcing potential per village/area covered
Identify & monitor competing sales channel for each farmer (VLC/Mandi/Others) & find out terms & conditions of their sales
o Using this knowledge, help WayCool to competitively procure by offering farmers services/value
Identify key farmers likely to align with CC & encourage them to deliver to WC and encourage other farmers to sell to WC
Plan and create procurement targets for each product for every farmer/village/cluster by crop and season
Visit every village and farmer regularly to create visibility for Waycool, enhance relationship and access to product
Monitor availability and quality of produce, assess farmers sale plans.

Effective sourcing at village level
Plan and execute CC/village level logistics strategy
Monitor and report nearby APMC/Mandi prices, activities of other VLCs, Startups, major buyers in the area
Convey procurement prices to farmers daily via messages
Monitor crop conditions and keep WC team informed about crop yields, potential losses due to adverse weather/pests
Organise events to popularize WC in the region, work closely with WC franchisee/ONP in the region for all above points
