IT Admin- Full Time (Mumbai)

We Assemble is looking to hire a System Administrator to join our team. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install and configure software and hardware
Manage network servers and technology tools
Set up accounts and workstations and maintain user access administration
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages and maintain Disaster recovery planning
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Build an internal employee manual with technical documentation and IT policies
Install patches and review system logs regularly
Report malicious or suspicious, sensitive information stored on systems or any such activity on systems to IT head immediately
Generate/Retain system backups and maintain security standards for systems
Identify / designate a secondary system administrator(s)
Comply with password requirements
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Periodically giving Cyber Security Training and develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
System audit logging and daily Monitoring of system activity

Requirements

Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge about IT Audits
Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification is a plus
