Learn more about us at www.webengage.com About the role: Content marketing is at the epicentre of inbound and outbound marketing at WebEngage. It plays an integral role in driving demand generation, establishing brand awareness, fueling product marketing and ensuring education for WebEngage’s target audience. While a highly talented set of marketers are running the content distribution engine, we’re looking for an experienced writer to fuel the content production engine and provide the content distribution team with enough resources to promote at all times. You’ll be closely working with a team of content writers to produce various content assets and own the content production pipeline. You’ll also be working with the designers, video editors, brand, PR and product marketing teams. If typos aren’t your thing, you’re a grammar nazi and you love to create data-backed, conversational content that significantly contributes to marketing and busines growth, then you must be with us.
Responsibilities:

• Produce well-researched content resources which aligns with various stages of the marketing funnel and types of buyer personas
• Develop longform content assets like reports, guides, case studies and thought leadership articles
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including product, performance and brand marketing along with the customer-facing teams to create educational content for existing and potential customers
• Mentor the team of junior content writers and carry out content reviews
• Develop and maintain the content editorial and production trackers
• Keep up with the latest trends in the SaaS industry, generate ideas and implement relevant content writing best practices
• Be a custodian of the brand tonality and editorial guidelines of WebEngage
• Work with agencies/vendors

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS content writing
• Sharp writing, proofreading and editing skills in English
• Understanding of SEO concepts and how readers find and use content on the web
• Creative thinking with a flair for intuitive storytelling
• Strong sense of quality and eye for detail
• Capable of multitasking and time management
