About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer…

In this role, you will:

• This position will act as an individual contributor for a complex Storage and Server technical engineering organization.
• As a member of our Storage and Server Automation team, you’ll join a team of technologists dedicated to developing and deploying large-scale infrastructure solutions that support Wells Fargo businesses.
• You’ll be using the latest technologies and security practices in all aspect of software development.
• Critical thinking, clear communication, and collaboration are key to successful product delivery.
• Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key.
• Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
• Identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
• Exercise independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications, International:

• Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 3+ years web development experience which includes the programming / development of web applications

  Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient skills in Python,
• Experience with Databases MYSQL, and Oracle
• Follow and promote Agile methodologies, especially scrum/Kanban
• Understanding or have experience with Jira and Confluence applications
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
• Demonstrable skill writing and delivering best-practice documentation and solution documents are a necessity
• Demonstrable leadership skills such as managing time, managing meetings and verbal communication skills

Job Expectations:

• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge storage and server concepts such as SAN, NAS and Distributed Servers
• Working in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process framework
• Exercises judgment
• Flexible and self-motivated, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to take ownership of the task assigned
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to diverse business and technical audiences.
• Must be a self-driven person.
