Department Overview

PTCT – Payments, Treasury and Customer care Technology group aims to provide technology across Payments, Customer channels, Treasury Solutions (ACH, Wire, Commercial Card, Real time Payments, Lockbox, Sweeps, Zelle Pay, Push2Card, Desktop deposits) in the form of Services, Solutions, Software, Products and helps Commercial Banking CIO group to move forward in transforming the technology organization. This includes collaborating with Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Shared Service and Infrastructure teams.

About the Role

We are looking a senior engineer who will bring the thought leadership to the organization. In this role, this person will be accountable for assisting delivery leaders in Payments, Treasury and Customer care Technology by developing a Digital Capability vision that helps realize Customer First through modern design & technologies

The role is expected to promote and come up with new solutions/ideas & elevate new technologies that could meet the future needs of domestic payments in the US. Lead technology/product adoption that would shape the direction of the project /program. The role is expected to have good know-how of the latest trends, conducting in-depth technical reviews, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance, and scalability for this project.

Responsibilities

• Having an overall experience of 10+ years with at least 4+ years of experience on payments domain.
• Excellent experience in developing micro services using Spring Boot, Messaging system like MQ/Kafka
• Experience in design and implementation of high available, highly scalable and high volume distributed solutions
• Good hands-on experience on event drive architecture using Kafka
• Hands-on experience on API design and building distributed applications using Micro services.
• Strong development experience on Java stack, Spring Framework
• Good exposure to CI/CD process and tool chain
• Troubleshoot and tune for performance
• Responsible for End-End monitoring of the ELK stack and SOA Suite
• Excellent understanding of the SDLC, STLC and Agile Methodology
• Experience in writing scripts using PowerShell/Python/Ruby/similar

Essential Qualifications

• University degree in Business or related discipline with 10 + years of experience
• Must have Experience in developing application in Cloud native
• Must have Experience in developing applications using Event driven architecture using KEES (Kafka Enterprise Event Streaming) Rich experience working in Agile environment
• Hands on experience adopting and implementing engineering practices such as TDD, BDD, Developer lead functional automation, Automated deployment
• Experience in recommending changes to application architecture with knowledge in infrastructure aspects and good ability to articulate to stakeholders.
