Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Representative…
In this role, you will:
Support internal and external customers with inquiries and complaints regarding loan servicing needs
Monitor loan system and resolve customer issues, and process complex transactions online
Perform moderately complex administrative, transactional, operational and customer support tasks
Act as primary loan servicing contact that involve construction monitoring and disbursements
Monitor collateral and preparing payoff letters, releasing collateral
Audit loan systems of record for new loan setups, modifications and data input, and customer research and billing
Receive direction from supervisors, and escalate non-routine customer concerns to experienced individuals
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Job Expectations:
Research and validate tax documents (W-8 and W-9) and update the appropriate system of record, with guidance as needed.
Responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and within the defined processing time frame.
Adhere to all aspects of the production related SOP’s to ensure all internal controls are followed.
Analyzing the documents to ensure if they are valid and preparing the tax forms
Validate US Tax forms and perform outreach to internal Client Managers or Relationship Managers to obtain documentation and validate tax forms upon receipt.
Escalate any problems resolving exceptions, issues or delays in a timely manner to Supervisor and third parties, as applicable.
Communicate deficiencies in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Independently research tax issues and interpret tax guidelines to help resolve issues with production or otherwise, with guidance as needed.
As directed, actively lead projects through to implementation including the delegation and direction of work among other project team members
Highly motivated with strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work different shifts and to work overtime
Strong focus on attention to detail
Awareness of US tax reporting requirements including W8 & W9 Tax forms
Prior use around MD3 software preferred
Willingness to escalate issues as they arise
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
